Lucien Braun (born February 24, 1923 in Littenheim ; † March 13, 2020 in Strasbourg ) was a French philosophy historian and university professor .

Lucien Braun was Professor of Philosophy and History of Philosophy at the University of Strasbourg , of which he was President from 1978 to 1983. Braun emerged primarily as an author of studies on the history of philosophy and its methodology, u. a. About Paracelsus , about the history and theory of the history of philosophy as well as about the forms of representation of philosophy in pictures.
