Binnings is a district of the municipality of Aitrang in the Swabian district of Ostallgäu .

geography

The hamlet of Binnings is located in the Bavarian planning region of Allgäu five kilometers west of Aitrang at an altitude of 799 meters.

history

The place was part of the Reichsvogtei of the monastery St. Mang (Füssen) , which held the lower jurisdiction since 1227 . Aitrang formed with Umwangs , Görwangs , coins Ried the "bottom advocacy" and binning. The Reichsvogtei had been pledged several times and was the last to be acquired by the Princely Monastery of Kempten in 1524 . The place fell in the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss 1803 to the princes Oettingen-Wallerstein . With the Rhine Confederation Act 1806, the place came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . Binnings has belonged to this municipality since the establishment of the municipality of Aitrang with the Bavarian municipal edict of 1818.
