The diocese of Anguo ( lat. : Dioecesis Ngancuovensis ) is in the People's Republic of China Located Roman Catholic diocese based in Anguo .

history

The diocese of Anguo was on April 15, 1924 by Pope Pius XI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Ex hac sublimi from cessions of territory by the Apostolic Vicariates Central Chi-Li and Southwest Chi-Li as Apostolic Prefecture Lixian . The Lixian Apostolic Prefecture was founded on July 13, 1929 by Pius XI. Elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate with the Apostolic Constitution Edocet Nos and renamed the Apostolic Vicariate Anguo .

The Apostolic Vicariate Anguo was on April 11, 1946 by Pope Pius XII. raised to a diocese with the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Beijing as a suffragan .
