The diocese of Blumenau ( Latin Dioecesis Florumpratensis , Portuguese Diocese de Blumenau ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Blumenau in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina .

On April 19, 2000, the diocese of Blumenau was founded from areas of the Archdiocese of Florianópolis and the dioceses of Joinville and Rio do Sul. The first bishop was the auxiliary bishop of São Paulo, Angélico Sândalo Bernardino PIME .
