The Diocese of Bouar ( Latin Dioecesis Buarensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Bouar in the Central African Republic .

history

Pope Paul VI founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Peramplum Berberatensis on February 27, 1978 from cession of territory by the Diocese of Berbérati and was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Bangui as a suffragan diocese.
