The Roman Catholic Diocese of Cuddapah ( lat. : Dioecesis Cuddapahensis ) is in India situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Kadapa (Cuddapah).

history

The diocese of Cuddapah was founded on October 19, 1976 by Pope Paul VI. Established with the Apostolic Constitution Quoniam ad recte from cessions of territory by the Diocese of Nellore and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Hyderabad as a suffragan .

The diocese of Cuddapah comprises the districts of Chittoor and Kadapa in the state of Andhra Pradesh .
