The Bistum Kafanchan ( latin Dioecesis Kafancana ) is in Nigeria preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Kafanchan .

history

The diocese of Kafanchan was established on July 10, 1995 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Cum ad aeternam from cedings of the archbishopric Jos and Kaduna and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Kaduna as a suffragan . The first bishop was Joseph Danlami Bagobiri .
