The Diocese of Kankan ( lat. : Dioecesis Muilaensis ) is in Guinea situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Kankan . It covers the northeastern part of Guinea.
history
Pope Pius XII founded the Apostolic Prefecture of Kankan with the Apostolic Constitution Evangelizationis operi on May 12, 1949 from cession of territory by the Apostolic Vicariate of French Guinea .
With the Apostolic Constitution Cum in Apostolica she was raised to the diocese on November 17, 1993.
