The diocese of Kaposvár ( Hungarian Kaposvári Egyházmegye , Latin Dioecesis Kaposvarensis ) is a Hungarian diocese of the Roman Catholic Church , which is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Veszprém. It is based in Kaposvár .

The diocese was established on May 31, 1993 from the southern part of the Archdiocese of Veszprém under Pope John Paul II . It mainly includes Somogy County .
