The Hungarian Military Ordinary is a military ordinariate in Hungary and is responsible for the Hungarian Armed Forces .

history

The Hungarian Military Ordinary takes care of members of the Hungarian armed forces of Catholic denominations. It was established as a diocese by Pope John Paul II on April 18, 1994 . By mutual agreement between the Holy See and the Republic of Hungary, the seat of the Hungarian military ordinariate is in Budapest .
