The Diocese of Ji'an ( Latin : Dioecesis Chinganensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Ji'an in the People's Republic of China .

history

Pope Leo XIII. founded the Apostolic Vicariate South Jiangxi on August 19, 1879 out of territory from the Apostolic Vicariate Jiangxi . On August 25, 1920, it took the name, Vicariate Apostolic Kingan.

On December 3, 1924, it took the name, Apostolic Vicariate Kianfu. With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised to the diocese on April 11, 1946.
