The diocese Nzérékoré ( lat. : Dioecesis Nzerekorensis ) is in Guinea situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Nzerekore . It covers the eastern part of Guinea.

history

Pope Pius XI founded the Apostolic Prefecture Nzérékoré with the Apostolic Constitution Quo ex Evangelii on March 9, 1937 from cession of territory by the Apostolic Vicariate Bamako .

With the Apostolic Constitution Christi provisio it was elevated to the diocese on April 25, 1959.
