The Diocese of Teotihuacan ( lat. : Dioecesis Teotihuacana , span. : Diócesis de Teotihuacan ) is in Mexico located Roman Catholic diocese , based in San Juan Teotihuacán .

history

The diocese of Teotihuacan was founded on December 3, 2008 by Pope Benedict XVI. Established with the Apostolic Constitution Mexicanorum fidelium from cession of territory by the Diocese of Texcoco and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Tlalnepantla as a suffragan . The first bishop was Guillermo Francisco Escobar Galicia .
