The Diocese of Xiangyang ( Latin Dioecesis Siamiamensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Xiangyang in the People's Republic of China .

history

Pope Pius XI founded the Apostolic Prefecture Siangyang with the bull Sollicito studio on May 25, 1936 from cession of territory by the Apostolic Vicariate Laohekou .

With the Apostolic Constitution Nihil refugit , she was elevated to a diocese on May 10, 1951.
