Björn Sänger (born April 10, 1975 in Kassel ) is a German politician ( FDP ). From 2009 to 2013 he was a member of the German Bundestag .

Career

Political party

Björn Sänger has been a member of the FDP since 1991 and was a member of her youth organization Junge Liberale until she reached the age limit in 2010 . From 2006 to May 2018 he was district chairman of the FDP in the Kassel district.

Since the Hessian local elections in 2006, he was a member of the Ahnatal municipal council and deputy chairman of the parliamentary group of the Liberal Voting Community (LWG). In the elections to the 17th German Bundestag , Sänger entered the state list of the FDP Hesse and represented the Waldeck constituency there . He was a full member of the finance committee , a deputy member of the committees for food, agriculture and consumer protection and transport, construction and urban development, and a deputy member of the administrative board of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority ( BaFin ). Björn Sänger also belonged to the local politics group and the energy group of the FDP parliamentary group and was also deputy chairman of the craft working group. From March 2012, Singer was the deputy chairman of the German-Russian parliamentary group .
