From January 2014, Brudevoll took part in FIS races and national championships, with specialization in technical disciplines becoming apparent early on. His first appearances in the European Cup were in December 2015. In the same month he won an FIS race for the first time and in April 2016 he surprisingly became Norwegian slalom champion, leaving behind the experienced racers Sebastian Foss Solevåg and Henrik Kristoffersen, among others . In the 2016/17 European Cup season, however, he was only able to classify himself once in the points. At the 2017 Junior World Championships in Åre , he won the silver medal in the team competition .
Brudevoll made his World Cup debut on November 12, 2017, when he was eliminated by Levi in the first run of the slalom . His best European Cup result in the 2017/18 season was twelfth. He was finally able to establish himself in this racing series in the following season, with two podium places on January 6th and 7th in slaloms in Val-Cenis .
