Bjarki Már Gunnarsson (born August 10, 1988 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic handball player .

Career

Bjarki Már Gunnarsson played in his home country at HK Kópavogur , for whom he played in the European Cup Winners' Cup and the EHF Cup and with which he won the championship in 2012. In 2013, the 1.97-meter-tall runner moved to the German second division EHV Aue . In the summer of 2017 he joined the Icelandic first division club UMF Stjarnan .

Bjarki Már Gunnarsson is a member of the Icelandic national team , for which he has scored 17 goals in 61 international matches . With Iceland he took part in the 2014 European Championships in Denmark .
