Bjarne Reuter

Bjarne Bertram Reuter (born April 29, 1950 in Brønshøj , Copenhagen , Denmark ) is a Danish writer . He has been honored with almost all Danish literary prizes and numerous international awards. Some of the written books have been filmed.

In Germany he was first known for his children's books, with which he is in the tradition of Scandinavian children's book authors.

It was only with his novels Das Zimthaus and Die Himmelsstürmer that his novels for adults found a large readership.
