history
The place was first mentioned on October 16, 1346. Blüssen was mentioned in a document on January 20, 1319 as the property of the Bülow brothers and Kirch Mummendorf on August 24 of the same year as property of the state of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (until 1933). Like that of most of the other villages, the administrative area of Schönberger Land is a blooming village shape , which is located on a large pond. There were once five farms and four farms in Blüssen, most of which fell into disrepair or were demolished.
For decades, Blüssen belonged to the Papenhusen community . With their merger with Börzow and Mallentin , the place came to the municipality of Stepenitztal on May 25, 2014.
