Smooth makes his first money in dog racing . Together with his cousin Money, he then enters the sports betting business . Together they Turkish basketball games. If the players fail to parry, Money will beat them up, including rising star Jasper. Shortly afterwards, Money goes to jail. Meanwhile, Smooth rises to the big players in Las Vegas . He founds a profitable casino for blacks on the Strip , but it is run by the Mafia . When Money comes out of jail, Smooth hires him as head of security. Despite Money's somewhat quick-tempered temperament, things are going well at first. Smooth marries the barmaid Peaches and moves into Bugsy Siegel's house . But Money makes a serious mistake: he kills the man who collects the protection money. Smooth and Money hide in Bugsy Siegel's house. Mafia troops storm the property and kill Money. However, Smooth can escape through a secret passage. Together with Peaches he tries to start over. When he wants to collect his money like he used to at greyhound races, he is shot twice by Jasper.
background
At the end of the 1990s, label owner Master P got into the film business. He has made, directed or starred in some films. The films were mostly set in the gangster milieu and adopted elements of the gangster film. Black Scarface appeared directly on video and was framed by an anti-drug commercial and two music videos.
Contrary to what the German rental title suggests, Black Scarface is not a "black" version of Scarface , although the shooting towards the end is based on it, but rather Master P's version of Casino . In Germany, the film was released as a single DVD and as part of the Gangsta Rapper Box box set with a number of similar films.
