Blaison-Gohier is a commune Déléguée in the French community Blaison-Saint-Sulpice with 1,056 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire .
Historical development
Blaison-Gohier was formed in 1974 by merging the municipalities of Blaison and Gohier, first as a Commune associée, then in 1982 as a merger.
With effect from January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Blaison-Gohier and Saint-Sulpice were merged into a Commune nouvelle with the name Blaison-Saint-Sulpice . The municipality of Blaison-Gohier belonged to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Les Ponts-de-Cé .
