The Blanice , also Vlašimská Blanice , (German Blanitz ) is a left tributary of the Sázava in the Czech Republic.

It rises south of the village of Blanička, Rodná municipality in Okres Tábor . The source of the Blanice is located at an altitude of 673  m in the Polánka Nature Park on the northeast slope of the Batkovy hill (721 m). Dolní Hrachovice , Blanice, Mladá Vožice , Šebířov , Skrýšov, Kamberk , Předbořice and Louňovice pod Blaníkem lie on its northward path . There the Blanice flows in meanders at the western foot of the Velký Blaník (631 m). The villages Ostrov , Hradiště , Polánka, Znosim, Vlašim and Libež follow downstream . To the east of the municipality of Všechlapy , the D 1 motorway crosses the river at the foot of the Hůrka (433 m).

After 66 kilometers the Blanice flows into the Sázava between Soběšín and Český Šternberk at a height of 302  m nm opposite the settlement Čejkovice. The river overcomes a height difference of 371 meters and has a catchment area of ​​543 km².
