The Blau [ blo ] is a small river in the south of France that runs in the Aude department in the Occitanie region . It rises in the Pyrenees on the northern edge of the Pays de Sault plateau on the municipal boundary of Puivert and Belvis . About one kilometer further down, it takes in the water from the karst spring Aigo Neîch (German: "water hole") from the right. It then generally drains north to north-west and flows into the Hers-Vif as a right tributary after a total of 16.1 kilometers on the western outskirts of Chalabre .
