Blind was a German alternative rock band from Andernach near Koblenz .

history

The band was founded in 2002 and in the same year achieved second place in the rockbuster finals of the LAG Rock & Pop (Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft Rock & Pop in Rheinland-Pfalz e.V.). After that, the group became known primarily through concerts, including joint appearances with Nightwish , Limp Bizkit , Silbermond , and the Guano Apes . With the medieval rock band In Extremo , Blind recorded their title Ave Maria for the bonus CD of the album Kein Blick zurück .

On December 22, 2007 the band's first single was released under the title Break Away , on January 25, 2008 the album Blind was released . As part of their subsequent tour, the group also appeared at the Bochum Total Festival and as the opening act for Toten Hosen and Die Happy .
