A sequel appeared on the video market in 1993 under the title Bloodfist Fighter 4 , while the DVD was released under the original title Ring of Fire 2 . 1994 followed with Lion Strike , also known as Ring of Fire 3: Lion Strike, a third part of the original Ring of Fire series.

criticism

The genre mix of love films with Romeo and Juliet bonds and martial arts films could hardly convince the critics.

“The motif of the ' West Side Story ' as a background for bloody kickboxing fights. Because of the love story, the tempo of the film is dragged out again and again, and the result is a genre mix that never really works. "
