Blowsight is a four-piece rock band from Stockholm , Sweden , formed in 2003 .


The band consists of Nick Red (vocals; * October 15 in Stockholm), Seb (guitar, vocals; * June 26 in Stockholm), Fabz (drums; * June 23 in Södermalm, Stockholms Län) and Mao (bass; * August 18 in Stockholm). Until 2011, Mini was still playing bass instead of Mao.


Blowsight was founded in 2003. In 2006 the quartet won a Swedish song competition, which enabled them to release their EP I'll Be Around via Sony / BMG , which also featured the highly acclaimed cover of Britney Spears ' Toxic and sold out in Sweden within a month. Concerts with Danzig and Life of Agony followed as part of the release .

In 2007 the debut album Destination Terrorville was released in Sweden, in 2009 on Fastball Music across Europe and was promoted on a European tour with Cinema Bizarre . In 2010 the band released their second album Dystopia Lane . It was released as the first Blowsight album in Japan via Spiritual Beast and in the USA. Also that year the band released their first video for Days of Rain .

In 2011 the EP SheDevil was released , which stayed at number 16 in the MRC charts for 10 weeks and at number 19 in the DAT 20 charts for 2 weeks. In the course of this release, Blowsight played at the major European festivals Wacken Open Air , Getaway and Masters of Rock as well as their first own headlining tour in Germany and the Czech Republic.

In memory of the victims of the attack on Utøya in Norway on July 22, 2011, Blowsight published the title Through These Eyes with the Swedish rapper Pato Pooh .

In 2012 there was a Europe-wide tour with the band Oomph! which also led to the collaboration between Dero (lead singer of Oomph!) and Blowsight in the form of the title Invisible Ink . Following the European tour, the new album Life & Death will be released in Europe , the USA and Japan .
