Bloody clues - The game with death (Alternative title: Three Blind Mice - A murderous plan ; Original title: Three Blind Mice ) is an American thriller by Christopher Leitch from 2001 . Anne Gerard and Adam Greenman wrote the script based on a novel by Evan Hunter .

Three murdered Vietnamese are found in a house in South Florida. A playing card was put in the mouth of one of the men. The men used to stand trial for allegedly attacking Josie Leeds. One is said to have tried (unsuccessfully) to rape her. However, the three Vietnamese were acquitted. Josie's husband Stephen threatened the men with death, which the media have made public.
Stephen Leeds is charged with murder. Lawyer Matthew Hope, who served with Leeds in the Vietnam War, takes on the defense. He visits prosecutor Patricia Demming, from whom he learns that there are two Vietnamese witnesses - who speak little English - who are said to have seen Leeds near the crime scene. Hope tells Demming that they are opponents, but he doesn't want them to be enemies.
Hope researches his friend's past, with a private investigator and Demming helping him.
Reviews
The magazine TV direkt 15/2007 wrote that the film contained “ too many coincidences ”.
TV Spielfilm magazine wrote that the film lacked “ real highlights ”. Nevertheless, it was "made clean, played well " and offered " tolerable tension ".
