history

The village of Bošín has been documented as a parish village since 1362. At that time the Košík von Rožďalovice owned the largest part of the settlement, and two more goods belonged to the Nymburk Hospital. In the 15th century the Čelákov von Mečíř owned the place. When it was divided, the Křinecký von Ronov acquired most of Bošín in the 16th century and joined them to the Dětenice rule . Jiří Vančura from Řehnice, Jiří Ceteňský z Cetně and the Raschin from Riesenburg held smaller shares . Adam the Elder acquired these parts in 1623. J. von Waldstein and added it to his rule Kunstberg.

According to the Josephine tolerance patent, a Protestant congregation was formed, which in 1787 built its own church. After the abolition of patrimonial Bošín formed a community in the Poděbrady district from 1850 and came to Okres Nymburk in 1934. In 1961 it was incorporated into Křinec. Because of the preserved historical folk buildings, Bošín is a protected monument area. The rows of trees on the village square have grown into a grove for some time. In 1991 the village had 66 inhabitants. In 2001, 62 people lived in Bošín's 53 houses.

Alexander von Bethmann (1814–1883) was buried in Bošín .
