Bob Beemer

Robert Joseph "Bob" Beemer (born February 8, 1955 in Los Angeles ) is an American sound engineer and four-time Oscar winner.

Life

Beemer studied "Communication Arts" and English at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles and graduated in 1977 with a bachelor's degree. In the same year he had his first job as a sound engineer in the television series Roots .

Bob Beemer has received numerous awards, including a. with an Oscar each for the best sound mix for Speed (1994), Gladiator (2000), Ray (2004) and Dreamgirls (2006).
