Bob the Butler ( Bob the Butler ) is a Canadian - British film comedy of Gary Sinyor from the year 2005 .

action

Bob Tree chooses his jobs from an alphabetical list of professions. He enrolls in a butler school.

Single Anne Jamieson hires Tree to care for her children, Bates and Tess. She wants to spend more time with her friend Jacques, who is French. Tree befriends the children. He is released by Jamieson after some mishaps.

Jamieson later finds out how much Tree has done for their children and asks him to return. She and her children go to the ship that Tree is supposed to take to leave, but the ship runs out. On the later way home they stop at a gas station where they meet the Tree who works there. Jamieson kisses him.

The film ends with Jamieson, Tree, and the children dining as a family. You will be served by another butler.

Reviews

The lexicon of international films wrote that the film was "a well-acted, enjoyable family entertainment about a born loser who surpasses himself ".

Scott Weinberg wrote on 25 November 2005 on www.dvdtalk.com, the script " limping " at the " stupidity " of the " most frequently warmed-kind " ( " The screenplay (...) is limp domestic stupidity of the most reheated fashion "). The child actors are " terrible ". The film is one of the worst comedies Weinberg has ever seen. Children would be better than this " garbage " ( " garbage deserve").

Benjamin B. Smith was nominated for the Young Artist Award in 2006.

The film was shot in Aldergrove and Vancouver (both in British Columbia , Canada ). It had its world premiere on March 10, 2005 at the Aspen Comedy Festival .
