Boban Jović (born June 25, 1991 in Celje ) is a Slovenian football player .

Career

society

Jović went through the youth department of NK Šampion Celje , the club of his hometown Celje. He then moved to the youth team of NK Aluminij and was a member of the professional squad here in 2009. In the same year he was signed by the NK Maribor . Here he quickly established himself as a regular player.

In 2015 he continued his career abroad when he moved to Wisła Kraków . For the second half of the 2016/17 season he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to Bursaspor and was loaned to Śląsk Wrocław for the 2017/18 season. In February 2019, he terminated his contract with Bursaspor.

National team

Jović started his national team career in 2006 with a commitment for the Slovenian U-16 national team . He then continued his career with assignments for the Slovenian U-17 , U-19, U-21 and the senior national team.

Personal

Boban Jović's parents are Serbs from Bosnia.
