The Bodenbach is a right tributary to the Ostersee-Ach in Upper Bavaria , shortly before its confluence with the Starnberger See .

It arises near the Strangenweiher , flows largely northward past Iffeldorf and meanders as it continues to form the central body of water in the Schechenfilz , which is part of the " Osterseen " nature reserve . Only a few hundred meters before the confluence of the Ostersee-Ach with the Starnberger See, the Bodenbach flows into an unnamed pond belonging to the Osterseen.
