Bogdan Janković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Богдан Јанковић ; born September 1, 1982 in Belgrade , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with HK Vitez Belgrade in the Serbian ice hockey league. With the HK Partizan Belgrade he was a five-time champion in his home country.

Career

Bogdan Janković began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown at HK Partizan Belgrade , for whom he made his debut at the age of 19 in the Yugoslav ice hockey league (since 2003: Serbian-Montenegrin ice hockey league, since 2006: Serbian ice hockey league). With Partizan he became Serbian-Montenegrin champion in 2006 and Serbian champion in 2007, 2008 and 2009 . He then went to HK Spartak Subotica for two years . In 2011 he moved to HK Vitez Belgrade , for whom he played in the Serbian league until 2016. In the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons he acted there as a player-coach.

International

In the junior division, Janković took part in the U18 World Championship of the European Division 2 2000 and the U20 World Championship of Division III 2001 for the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia .

In the men's area, Janković played for the Serbian-Montenegrin team at the qualifying tournament for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin . After the independence referendum of Montenegro in 2006, he took part with the Serbian team in the World Championships of Division II in 2007 , 2008 and 2009 .
