Boguslaw Count Chotek von Chotkow (born July 4, 1829 in Prague , † October 11, 1896 in Görlitz ) came from the old Bohemian noble family Chotek von Chotkow and Wognin and was a diplomat in the service of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy .

Boguslaw (Bohuslaw) was the younger son of Karl Chotek von Chotkow (1783–1868), governor of Tyrol, from 1826 to 1843 Oberstburggraf in Prague and Gubernialpräsident in Bohemia and his wife Marie, née Countess Berchtold (noble family) , baroness von Ungarschitz, Pulitz and Fratting, had the older brother Anton (1822-1883), on Großpriesen (Velke Brezno) and Zahorzan on the Elbe in Bohemia, married to Olga von Moltke (noble family) and was the grandson of Johann Nepomuk Rudolph Count Chotek von Wognin (* 1648, † 1724), heir of Fideikommisses Jeniowes (Jenineves) and Weltrus ( Veltrusy ) in Central Bohemia, 1802 Oberstburggraf in Prague and Gubernialpräsident in the Kingdom of Bohemia, married on May 18, 1772 in Vienna to Maria Sidonia Countess of Clary and Aldringen.

Bohuslaw Graf Chotek was in Austrian diplomatic services from 1867, from 1869 to 1871 envoy in Petersburg , in 1871 provisional governor in Bohemia, then envoy in Madrid, in 1873 in Brussels and then in Dresden.
