Ladislaus von Karnicki

Count Ladislaus von Karnicki , also Karnicki-Karnice (born November 15, 1820 , † December 31, 1883 ) was an Austrian diplomat .

Ladislaus von Karnicki was a member of a noble family from Galicia who were raised to the status of Austrian count in 1845. He was 1852-1854 Charge d'Affaires of the kk embassy in Bern and then from 1855 to 1856 at the Imperial Embassy in St. Petersburg busy, where he and the ambassador Count Emmerich Széchényi represented. From 1857 to 1863 he was Austrian envoy to the Hessian court in Kassel , then from 1863 to 1868 to the Swedish court in Stockholm and from 1869 to 1871 to the Spanish court in Madrid . After he retired from the diplomatic service, he retired to family estates in 1871.
