Bojan Adamič (born August 9, 1912 in Reifnitz , now Slovenia ; † November 3, 1995 in Ljubljana ) was a Yugoslav composer, band leader and conductor.

Adamič studied piano with Janko Ravnik at the Ljubljana Music Academy . In the late 1930s he formed a swing band , Broadway . During the Second World War he joined the Yugoslav People's Liberation Army . After the end of the Second World War , he founded a big band that successfully established itself as the Ljubljana radio dance orchestra. He led this big band until the beginning of the 1960s , which Jože Privšek then took over.

At first Adamič was active as a jazz musician, later he turned mainly to film music. He composed the music for more than two hundred television and cinema films. He also composed songs and chansons, brass music, chamber music and symphonic works. His music for the puppet show Žogica nogica was a great success , and his Ljubljanski concert for piano and orchestra was also well known .

Adamič promoted many young musicians, including the composer Vinko Globokar and the singers Tinkara Kovač , Sonja Gabršcek , Braco Koren , Irena Kohont , Jelka Cvetežar , Gabi Novak and Marjana Deržaj .
