Bojan Ziđarević ( Serbian - Cyrillic Бојан Зиђаревић ; born April 9, 1985 ) is a former Serbian ice hockey player who mainly played for HK Spartak Subotica in the Serbian ice hockey league. Ziđarević is currently the assistant coach of the Kuwaiti national team .

Career

Bojan Ziđarević began his career as a hockey player at HK Spartak Subotica , for whom he played in the Serbian-Montenegrin ice hockey league from 2003 . In 2006 he moved to HK Vojvodina Novi Sad for one year and then to KHK Red Star Belgrade for two years , where he played in the now all-Serbian league. In 2009 he returned to Subotica. In 2011 he moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he was on the ice for the al-Ain Theebs IHC . After two years in the oasis town of al-Ain , he returned to his Serbian homeland and let his career come to an end with his parent club Spartak Subotica.

International

For Serbia and Montenegro, Ziđarević took part in the U20 Division II competitions in 2004 and 2005 .

In the men's field, Ziđarević made his international debut for the Serbian national team at the 2008 World Cup in Division II. He also took part in qualifying for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver for Serbia .

Coaching

After the end of his active career, Ziđarević returned to the Arab world and has been the assistant coach of the Kuwaiti national team since 2014 , which he has played in several stagings of the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia as well as in the Winter Asian Games 2017 and the 2018 qualification for the division's ice hockey world championship III supervised.
