Bone Crusher
Bone Crusher (born August 23, 1971 in Atlanta , Georgia ; real name Wayne Hardnett ) is an American Dirty South rapper and hip-hop producer. He serves the sub-genre crunk and lets aspects of rock music flow into his music .
Career
Bone Crusher started his musical career as a member of the Lyrical Giants formation. This formed at the beginning of the 1990s and, in addition to Crusher, consists of the rappers Baby B and Bizar. In 1992 the Lyrical Giants received their first contract with Erick Sermon . He had seen a performance by the hip-hop formation in the Oxygen Club in Atlanta and then met with the members. After the Giants had played a few songs, they were able to sign the contract with the Def Squad label .
Bone Crusher had early contacts with hip-hop musicians who are well known today. For example, he worked with Lil Jon , the Youngbloodz, Mariah Carey and Clipse . In 1994, Bone Crusher made his first paid appearances as support for Too $ hort .
In 2003 Crusher released his first solo album AttenCHUN! . The album was released on the labels Arista Records and So So Def and was produced by Jermaine Dupri . The album also features features from Goodie Mob , TI , Dru, David Banner , Killer Mike, Jermaine Dupri and Lil Jon. The song Never Scared was released as a single . This could reach number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 . In an interview, Bone Crusher stated that he was AttenCHUN! recorded within two weeks.
Bone Crusher now has its own label called Vainglorious Entertainment . He runs this with his wife Aneesah Bray.
