Marco Zagrabinsky

Marco Zagrabinsky ( pseudonym Bonski , born June 16, 1971 in Würzburg ) is a German cartoonist , caricaturist and illustrator .

Marco Zagrabinsky's first publications appeared in 1994. In his home paper Main-Post he published the weekly comic strips s'Rentnergspött and Die Sprüchbeutl until 1996 . Further publications followed in the Oldenburger Nordwest-Zeitung , in Main-Echo , in Eulenspiegel and in company newspapers . He also makes private caricatures and designs mascots and logos for commercial customers.

In 2004 the book for gym bag forgetfuls was published with 92 of his own works. In 2008 he illustrated Klaus Hansen's book Der Neue .

Since February 2013 he has published again in the Main-Post . Bonski cartoons on current local topics appear there every week.

His short, concise panels tell stories in the most succinct way with wit, language and picture play. Sarah Halfar describes his style in How Stories Repeat (The New): “The characters of the draftsman Bonski all have a Buster-Keaton face. You don't laugh. And when they try, unpleasant grimaces and grimaces come out [...] "

Bonski lives with his family in Karlstadt ( Lower Franconia ).
