Klaus Hansen (political scientist)

Klaus Hansen (born May 5, 1948 in Pronsfeld , Eifel ) is a German social scientist and writer .

Life

Klaus Hansen studied psychology , sociology , journalism and ethnology at the University of Münster . In 1977 he received his doctorate in philosophy . From 1979 to 1986 he lectured on the history of political ideas and cultural policy at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation in Bonn . Teaching assignments at the Universities of Cologne and Siegen . In 1985/86 and 1989/90 he headed and from 1986 to 1989 he was deputy director of the Theodor Heuss Academy in Gummersbach , whose distance from left-wing liberalism he strongly criticized. From 1992 to 1996 he was government director in the Federal Ministry of the Interior . Since 1996 he has been Professor of Political Science and Political Education at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld / Mönchengladbach . In addition to his scientific work, he publishes numerous literary works. Hansen lives in Stommeln .

Hansen is a writer of satires , political poetry, and experimental poetry. He is particularly interested in the symbolism of the soccer game .

Klaus Hansen was a board member of the Society for the Promotion of Educational Research (GFPF) and co-founder of the Society for the Promotion of Forgotten and Exiled Literature ; (Associated with: edition memoria publisher). He sat on the juries to award the Adolf Grimme Prize and the Arno Esch Prize ( Association of Liberal Academics ). He was a member of the editorial board of several political and cultural magazines. He is still a board member of the fan project “de Kull e. V. “(Borussia Mönchengladbach). Hansen received a number of “weird” prizes, including the Viva Maria Prize (1995) awarded by Dieter Bott and the Kevin Prince Boateng Prize (2010) initiated by Wiglaf Droste and Klaus Bittermann . For many years he ran the "Oralverlag" Fliegender Robert. Syndicate for poetry and mouth . Since 2002 he has been concentrating solely on his professorship and his literary work. After his retirement (2013) he runs the “edition ohne fleiss kein reis beijing”, which publishes artist books in small numbered and signed editions. Since 2016 intensive collaboration with the edition “pepe-minibuch” in Berlin, meanwhile several mini-book works of art (see www.pepe-minibuch.de).
