The source rivers of the Borauais lie in the Sucos Macalaco and Guruça (both administrative office Quelicai ). Four different rivers unite on their way to the northwest and finally form the Borauai border between Guruça in the east and Suco Seiçal ( Baucau administrative office ) in the west. Further north, Guruça on the east bank is replaced by Suco Tequinaumata ( Laga administrative office ). Shortly thereafter, the Borauai passes the village of Ague (west bank) and receives a tributary from Tequinaumata. Finally, the Borauai flows into the Wetar Strait west of the Mulia settlement center .
