Boris Cespedes has been with Servette FC Genève since he was a teenager and received his first professional contract in 2013. He made his debut on August 12, 2013. After he received too little time at Servette , he was loaned to Étoile Carouge on February 9, 2015 until the end of the season. After he returned to Servette and again only played three games, he was loaned to Etoile Carouge again the following season.

For the second half of the 2016/17 season and at the third attempt, he finally managed to establish himself in the team and has been a regular in the Geneva midfield ever since .
