Andrea Maccoppi (born January 22, 1987 in Milan ) is an Italian soccer player who is currently under contract as a midfielder with Servette FC .

Career

Maccoppi started at Piacenza Calcio in his youth , but was sold to Calcio Lecco in 2006 and from there to Varese Calcio . In 2008 he returned to Piacenza Calcio, where he was initially to be found again in the youth department. Half a year later he moved to the first team, but where he was not one of the regular players. In two years with the then Italian second division club , he only made three league games. In the 2008/09 season Maccoppi played on loan for AS Pizzighettone . In 2010 he moved to FC Locarno in Switzerland . There he was an absolute regular player and made 27 out of 30 possible appearances in the first season . In 2011/12 there were just as many. Only this season Maccoppi scored a goal. It was his first professional goal, he shot it on November 20, 2011 against FC Wil to the 0: 2 intermediate result (final result: 1: 2). In 2012 he moved to Liechtenstein's FC Vaduz , which played in the Swiss Challenge League , with whom he won the Liechtenstein Cup twice. He was used in a total of 41 league games for FC Vaduz. He was able to score three goals. In 2014 he signed with FC Chiasso . Here he played in 60 league games. In the first season he came on 29 missions, in the second on 31. The many missions came about because the Challenge League now had 36 instead of 30 game days. Maccoppi also managed to score a goal in the dress of the southern Swiss. In 2016, FC Lausanne-Sport signed the then 29-year-old. In the first season there, it wasn't used that often. In the following season he played a little more. In 2018, he switched from the Super League back to the Challenge League. There he played for Servette FC . There he integrated very well and became one of the regular players. After the promotion to the Super League, however, he was anything but set in the central midfield.
