Grejohn Kyei (born August 12, 1995 in Gonesse ) is a French - Ghanaian football player who is currently under contract as a striker with Servette Geneva .

Career

society

Kyei started playing soccer at a youth club in Villiers-le-Bel . In 2010 scouts from Stade Reims discovered him . Until 2014 he only played for the youth department. But then he signed his first professional contract. However, he did not make his debut for the first team until April 12, 2015, the 32nd matchday of the Ligue 1 season 2014/15 . In this 1-0 defeat against OGC Nice , he came on in the 74th minute for Nicolas de Préville . He scored his first goal on the last day of the season against Paris Saint-Germain for a 3-2 tie (final score: 2-3). The following season he scored three goals in 16 games. At the end of the season, Reims was relegated to Ligue 2 . In 2016/17 Kyei was the relegated regular. He made 28 games and seven goals in the season. This remained so in the following season, where he completed roughly the same number of games, but only scored three goals. Despite his good standing in the club and despite the promotion, he was awarded to the former league competitor RC Lens in 2018/19 , where he was often only part of the game as a joker. It was no longer set in Reims either. So he moved in the summer of 2019 in the Switzerland after Geneva Servette Geneva. There he was an absolute regular player. Until the Corona crisis , Kyei made two goals in 14 games.

National team

So far Kyei has been on the pitch once for the French U21s . He played against Iceland on September 5, 2015. The French lost 3-2. Kyei scored the goal to make it 3-2.
