Boris Pfeiffer
Boris Pfeiffer (born February 21, 1964 in Berlin ) is a German author and theater director .
Life
After graduating from high school in 1983, he first worked as a bookseller and antiquarian before studying landscape planning and linguistics at the Technical University of Berlin in 1986 . In 1990 he was hired as an extra at the Volksbühne Berlin , but later worked as an assistant director at the same. In 1993 he moved to the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden as an assistant director . Before he began writing and directing plays at the Grips-Theater in 1994 , he was still working as an author and theater director for the play Unter der Hungeruchte (music and play: Andreas Krämer ) at the Mannheim National Theater. This has been followed by other plays in the children's and youth theater sector to this day. Together with Felix Huby , he produced the youth piece I pop you off! , based on the novel by Morton Rhue , on the stage. For this he was awarded the 1st prize and the audience prize of the NRW children's and youth theater meeting in 2004.
Between 1998 and 2001 he took up a second degree at the Screenwriting Academy of the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin . In parallel, he worked as manager for various productions of the ZDF worked and created the screenplay for the short film dragon's blood , which in the 36th World Festival Film Festival in Houston , Texas was awarded. In addition, he staged several plays for the Schauspielhaus Zürich a . a. with the actor and stage musician Andreas Krämer.
Since 2003 he has mainly worked as an author for series of novels in the children's and youth book area, including the detective series Die drei ??? Kids and the adventure series Das Wilde Pack , which he writes with André Marx . He also writes the dialogue books for the radio play adaptation of Das Wilde Pack on the USM label . Since 2009 he has been responsible for the translation of the Italian football series Tor! responsible for Luigi Garlando.
