Buch is a church village and part of the municipality of Kutzenhausen in the Augsburg district in the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria .
The hamlet Boschhorn also belongs to the district .

From 1862 to 1929 the independent municipality of Buch with its district Boschhorn belonged to the district office of Zusmarshausen and from 1929 to the district office of Augsburg , which from 1939 was called the district of Augsburg .

Buch was incorporated into the municipality of Kutzenhausen on January 1, 1972 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
