Boss Bitch ( spelling : Bo $$ Bitch ) is the debut album by the German singer Katja Krasavice . It was released on January 17, 2020.

backgrounds

In 2017 and 2018, Katja Krasavice, known through her YouTube videos , was able to achieve top ten positions, including number one, with her first three singles Doggy , Big Lips and Sex Tape in Germany and Austria . In 2019 she signed a contract with the Warner Music label , on which her first album was released. Due to the different record companies, her first three songs are not included on the work.

All titles on the album were written by the artist herself; With the exception of Who Are You , which was produced by Lucry , TheIronix took over the production of the work.

Four singles were released from the album: Gucci Girl , Sugar Daddy , Wer sind Sie und Casino . The former was a moderate commercial success and reached 21st place in Germany and Austria and 80th place in Switzerland ; Casino climbed to 44th place in Germany. The other two songs could not prove themselves in the charts. In addition, a snippet of the title track was published in advance and a music video for Rodeo was released on the day of the album release .

In addition to the normal edition, a deluxe box of the work is also available, which is enclosed with the album Krasavice's cell phone number , a mask that acts as a backstage pass to her concerts , a life-size flag , a thong worn by the artist , a sex doll and a hand-signed autograph card. The musician announced that the price of the box does not cover the costs, which is why she would not make a profit with this. The album's deluxe box has been pre-ordered 10,000 times.

Music and lyrics

Boss Bitch represents a change in style from Krasavice compared to her first three singles. The interpreter turns away from dance-pop and incorporates elements from contemporary R&B , trap and afrotrap , and on Sugar Daddy also Latin , into her pop music . She is now increasingly using the autotune voice effect to alienate her singing. In terms of content, the songs revolve around the artist's luxurious lifestyle, plastic surgery , her sex life and how she dealt with her fame and the associated negative reception.

Cover design

On the cover artwork for Boss Bitch , the artist is shown crouching three times next to each other on the floor, with the middle variant sitting on a pedestal . The left figure of Krasavice wears skin-tight, arm- and leg-free red clothing and high-heeled shoes as well as smooth, open hair; the right long-sleeved, but still leg-free robe in black as well as shoes in a mesh look and a ponytail . The portrayal of the musician in the center of the motif is clearly the most revealing. She is only dressed in white panties, pasties and a silver collar with long cords , and her hair is wavy. A triangle made of pink LED lights can be seen in the background . The album title can be seen in the same look at the top of the picture. The interpreter's name is at the bottom, the first name in pink and handwriting and the last name in black.
