Reviews
epd film wrote about it
“Basically,» BOULEVARD «is a one-person film. As excellent as all the actors are, the focus is entirely on Robin Williams and how he translates Nolan's unhappiness, his quarrel with himself into body language, into gestures, steps, looks and, last but not least, into the tense features around his mouth. Just looking at the young, inscrutable Leo, his eyes start to shine. Williams lets us participate in the agonizing liberation of this man, whose life is bound to inevitably break. As a spectator, the temptation is great to somehow compare the fate of the actor with the art. "
