Brösarp is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Skåne län and the historic province of Skåne . He belongs to the Tomelilla community .

location

The place has 719 inhabitants (as of 2015) and is located in the eastern part of Skåne, the Österlen , not far from the Baltic coast east of the place . Riksväg 19 runs west of the village , from Ystad in the south to Kristianstad in the north . Riksväg 9 , which follows south of the Baltic Sea coast from here , runs through Brösarps . Tomelilla , the main town in the municipality, is located southwest of Brösarps. The hilly landscape of Brösarps backar lies in the vicinity of the village .

To the north of the village is the Brösarp station, which, after the line was closed in 1971, served as the operating station of the standard-gauge museum railway Skånska Järnvägar . In the village is the church of Brösarp . The Hallamölla waterfall is located about six kilometers southwest of Brösarp .

Personalities

The Swedish engineer and government official Olof Hörmander (1923-2010) died in Brösarp .
