The Brühlbach is a left and southwestern tributary of the Wurmbach in the Lower Franconian district of Schweinfurt, almost two kilometers long .
course
The Brühlbach rises in the Hesselbacher Waldland , which is also called Schweinfurt Rhön , at an altitude of 341 m above sea level. NHN on the northern slope of the Lerchenberg ( 363 m above sea level ) a good half a kilometer north of the Schonungen district of Waldsachsen on the edge of a deciduous forest.
The creek initially flows a good 400 m in an east-south-east direction through fields and meadows. At the Brühl corridor, it bends sharply to the north-northeast. It then runs, accompanied by the field path, almost 200 m in this direction through the grassland of the Brühl corridor and then changes its course to the northeast. It falls dry here at times. A good half a kilometer later, about a hundred meters, it flows west of federal highway 303 directly along Abersfelder Strasse . From there it carries water all year round.
The Brühlbach finally flows out at an altitude of 308 m above sea level. NHN directly northwest of Waldsachsen Straße a good hundred meters south of the village of Abersfeld from the left into the Wurmbach approaching from the east-southeast .
